Ep#14 | Eco Friendly Leadership

Is Eco Friendly Leadership on your table?
Sharon Rowe is a social entrepreneur, author, speaker, and CEO of Eco-Bags Products, aiming to “clean up the planet one bag at a time”, to make a good living but still managed to put her family first.

She speaks on social entrepreneurship, from Yale University, New York University and Sing-Sing Prison to The FaFa Institute in Nairobi, and is a part of these communities: BCorporation, Social Venture Network, Women’s President’s Organization.

She introduced the ECOBAGS® reusable brand in 1989 and built a successful, “Tiny” impact business from scratch.  Time Magazine called her a “pioneer.” Glamour Magazine featured her as an Eco-Hero. The Oprah Show featured her brand, reaching millions and was featured on QVC, in the documentary BagIt and received many awards: Entrepreneur of the Year, Enterprising Women, Lillian Vernon, CBS Media.

In this episode Sharon shared her insights in leadership while being socially responsible. A leader should not lose sight of the values of the organization even if it means saying no to possibilities. It's about maintaining the quality of your product, your services and aim to make an international shift , a change that can make a difference.

Business is all about patience and persistence.
