I had the pleasure of meeting Sue Knowles, the Marketing and HR director of Costco Wholesale UK/Iceland and i just had to interview for our Change Makers Podcast!
Sue won this year's Costco ‘Inspiring Woman’ award for her huge role in developing Costco’s internal networking programme, Journey. By providing educational, mentoring and networking opportunities, Sue aims to help women to succeed. She also chaired the UK branch of the LEAD network (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity) which empowers women leaders to come together at free networking events.
In this episode, Sue shared very insightful tips on people management and her style of leadership in Costco. She emphasized the importance of taking care of your employees, making them happy to come to work to do a great job & have fun !
