During the past twenty years she has trained individuals in several spheres ranging from University students to professionals wishing to take on new practices. In the past seven years Dr Gialanze has conducted research for several entities in her capacity as a researcher. These have included looking at the work skills needed by the employer, commissioned by the EU, benchmarking exercises and also looking at the impact of e learning. She is presently a consultant in education for the Minister of Education in Malta focusing on linking Industry with Education.
A friend from a country that I hold dear in my heart and one of the places that I always love to visit, the small glorious city of Malta. Dr Michelle has been a friend for quite sometimes and it makes me so proud to be an acquaintance of a woman who is bringing change to her country and very well off to inspire the world soon.
Her passion to spread awareness on gender equality led her to create an association, the Women Directors in Malta which ultimately aims to create more opportunity for women to be on corporate boards. Funny how this project evolved from our discussion in a bar! :)

SHOW-NOTES
Great takeaways from Michelle:
Women are entitled to be on the same platform as men's if they have the skills and capacity to lead
Do not create gender issues by closing off opportunities for men who understands your cause
Look at women as fair contributors of skills and talents
Utilize human talents whatever the gender
We need not be an expert to create change, we need diversity
Continue to create change however slow it may seem to be
